Services

We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday at 10am. Sunday School is currently suspended due to the coronavirus restrictions.

We are delighted that four times a year our morning service is recorded and broadcast on RTHK4, reaching more than 20,000 listeners in Hong Kong and mainland China.

Special services during the year include:

  • Christmas Lessons & Carols by candlelight
  • Christmas Eve 5pm Crib Service for young families, 11pm Midnight Mass
  • Christmas Day 10am
  • Easter
  • Mothering Sunday (usually in March)
  • Harvest Festival
  • Remembrance Sunday (Sunday nearest 11th November)

You can find the dates under Upcoming Events on the Home page.

If you can't make it to St Stephen's on a Sunday morning, you can still get to church on Sundays at 5pm at St John's Cathedral in Central. Each month there is a variety of services based on this pattern. (Please check the Cathedral website since the pattern can change).

  • 1st Sunday – Choral Evensong
  • 2nd Sunday – Healing Eucharist
  • 3rd Sunday – Choral Evensong
  • 4th Sunday – Taize Evening Prayer
  • 5th Sunday – Celtic Evening Prayer

There are also daily eucharists at the Cathedral, which is open for prayer and meditation from 8am-6pm every day.
