We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday at 9.30am, with Sunday School for children during school terms.

On the first Sunday of each month (except August) we have Family Communion. This is a slightly shorter service than usual, aimed towards children as well as adults. There is no Sunday School, and children join in the service.

 

 

Special services during the year include: Mothering Sunday Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Harvest Festival All Saints and All Souls Remembrance Sunday Lessons and Carols by candlelight Crib Service and Midnight Mass Christmas Day You can find the dates on the home page.

If you can’t make it to St Stephen’s on a Sunday morning, you can always try the Sunday evening service at St John’s Cathedral at 6pm. Each month there is a variety of services including Choral Evensong, Taize Evening Prayer, and a Healing Eucharist. There are also daily eucharists at the cathedral, which is open for prayer and meditation from 8am-6pm every day. Please check the cathedral website for details.
