2nd Sunday before Lent
Our morning service today will be an African Mass, with lively, beautiful songs and music from Africa.
Today is the Cathedral Parish Sponsored Walk in aid of Helpers for Domestic Helpers (HDH), the cathedral-based outreach ministry that provides free legal advice for foreign domestic helpers. It’s an early start at Discovery Bay, then by ferry to Central and to St John’s Cathedral for the 8am Eucharist, then walking to Emmanuel Church Pokfulam to join the 10.15am Eucharist, and then up the Peak and across Hong Kong Island to end with Evening Prayer and pizza at St Stephen’s Stanley at 5pm. Walkers can join or leave at any point. It’s a great way to meet people from our sister churches, and raise money for a good cause at the same time!
